Pudical Mimosa Plant

This plant is known as the shy daughter of plants, the shock, wake collapse and Han Xiu Cao (China). Usually grow in the street, terrain, plants rapidly proliferating in the land. Stem round, hairy and prickly. Leaves compound composed of small, oval shape with a pointed tip, the color green (there is a reddish color). When touched the leaves will close (sensitive plant). Round, like a flower, pink, stemmed.

Utilization of diverse plant embarrassed daughter. Parts used are leaves, roots, whole plants, fresh or dried. Rules of use is 15 to 60 grams, boiled. While for external use: Wound, skin inflammation bemanah (piodermi) or herpes by crushed, placed in a hospital. Roots and seeds have other benefits to induce vomiting (in high dosage).

Chemical properties and pharmacological effects are sweet, astringent, slightly cold, tranquilizers (tranquiliser), sedative, laxative mucus (expectorant), anti-cough (antitusive), fever (antipiretic), anti-inflammatory (anti-inflammatory), urine laxative ( diuretic). Chemical constituents of this plant is Mimosine.

Contraindicated for pregnant women, forbidden to drink the potion because it can harm the fetus.
