Josswest (JW04) 2004 - Gorgeous all-cocobolo one-of-a-kind cue created by Bill Stroud. The wrap-around silver inlays feature one of his newest 4-D designs. This was among the cues Bill brought to the October, 2004 �nternational Cue Collectors Show�in Park City, Utah. All these examples (see photo below from the show) were made utilizing his groundbreaking �D�design and construction process, using a computer CAD system for rendering, and true four-axis machining to cut the inlays. Bill's cues made such an impression that two other top cue makers bought the same equipment after the show.
The cue is made from one piece of highly-figured cocobolo. Pure silver defines three elliptical �oints�then curves around the cue in a lattice pattern through the handle, finishing with matching reverse points in the butt sleeve area. Each point is tipped with a flower bud of silver and ivory.
The flat-faced joint has an ivory collar and stainless steel radial pin. The cue is finished with an ivory butt cap engraved with the �W�logo. The joint and shaft collars are black linen phenolic decorated with a single silver ring.
(2) 13 mm shafts with ivory ferrules, full set of joint protectors with the JW logo. Included is a custom Ultrasuede soft case.
