Berninas are the best! The March 2009 issue of Consumer Reports rated sewing machines, and both Berninas they tested scored #1 in their category. The Aurora 440QE was first in the Computerized Machines category . they did not test the 730 or any other Artista models but if they had, they would undoubtedly have scored even higher!

Here's a rare opportunity to purchase an almost new Bernina Artista 730E computerized sewing and embroidery machine, just 24 hours of total sewing time on its internal computer! The original owner purchased this in April 2009 and recently traded up to the new Bernina 830. Bernina's suggested retail price is nearly $9000 for the 730E! This was the top of the line Bernina until the 820/830 was introduced, but it will continue to be sold into the foreseeable future as well. My Bernina dealer cleaned and checked this out to make sure it is running perfectly, and I always test the machines I sell as well and guarantee them to be in perfect working order when you receive them. See my photos for the serial number (the second digit is the last number of the year the machine was manufactured). This is a 2008 model. It is spotless!

The embroidery unit was used only four hours and I didn't even take it out of its box. It includes three hoops, Artlink software, and a USB stick.

This comes "fully loaded"! Everything that came with it new is still with the machine. And I even have the original factory boxes and packing materials to ship it in. (Blue carrying bags for both machine and embroidery unit were never even removed from their packing, so I didn't photograph them.)

This is truly a "sewing computer" with the Microsoft Windows operating system built in. So it has a familiar touch screen on which you can view help and tutorials. You can also download embroidery designs and access the myartista portal on the Bernina web site. You can transfer embroidery designs with a USB stick (included) or a Bernina card.

Although I have never owned a 730, I did own a 200e upgraded with most of the features of a 730, so feel free to ask me any questions and I'll try my best to answer. My personal machine is an Artista 630.
